Ο Μπάμπης (Βλαδίμηρος Κυριακίδης), ο Άγης (Δημήτρης Τζουμάκης) και η Αφροδίτη (Ζέτα Δούκα) εκτίουν τις ποινές τους. Η μοίρα τα φέρνει έτσι που δύο μόλις ημέρες πριν την αποφυλάκιση, Μπάμπης και Αφροδίτη, γίνονται κατά λάθος μάρτυρες της εξομολόγησης ενός ετοιμοθάνατου βαρυποινίτη στον παπά Λάμπρο. Μαθαίνουν για την ύπαρξη ενός μεγάλου θησαυρού στο νησί, από τα χρόνια της τουρκοκρατίας, η θέση του οποίου υπάρχει σημειωμένη σε κάποιο χάρτη διαιρεμένου σε δύο κομμάτια.
